Aw dear thank you so much! Hmm, I’m not so great at thinking of things.
1. I can walk on stilts really well. Like I should’ve in the circus I think
2. My mom’s best friend’s niece’s fiancée is the manager for Daft Punk.
3. My great grandma was a nanny for Edgar Allan Poe’s family, like his uncle I believe (throwing this in because of the new AM song)
4. I’ve gone snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef
5. My grandpa invented the emergency evacuation slide on airplanes (I’ve said this one before but whatever)
Thank you so much Andrea! :)
Everyone is all excited about MVOTC being nominated and I’m pretty positive that they are going to win but Trouble Will Find Me is my album of the year so i can’t root for Vampire Weekend
and tame impala too oh man what a category

Courtney here’s what I chose. I know, I really branched out on this one. Me? Listening to Volcano Choir? Nevvverrr.
You know when you just lie on the floor and listen to music and you feel your muscles melt into the floor and it’s like your floating just above your body like you’re hovering over your shell of a body?
Pretty sure that’s my goal tonight…
you aren’t the only one who has that same plan for tonight
So I produced/play keys/samples in this rock band, this is our first single! Check it!

Aw dear thank you so much, that’s so nice of you to say. Um, I’m not sure how to start, this will probably just be a big mess but here we go.
Well, before the show when my friends and I were walking to the venue we saw Jamie and Nick walking into the venue themselves. We ran up to them and Nick didn’t turn around but Jamie did and he took a picture with one of the girls and that’s when I took my picture of him and then he continued inside.
It was a multi-act concert, and AM were right in the middle. They played 9 songs and it went all too quickly. I was right in the front but on the right side so I could see Alex perfectly but the others not so much. The setlist is online so you can see that but they played all the upbeat songs that I expected and the entire time Alex looked so happy. He danced a lot and every time he said “Seattle” I died a little bit. Snap Out of It, One for the Road and Arabella were my favorites but everything was phenomenal.
I can’t accurately describe what it felt like to hear and see them live. There are only a handful of bands that I truly love, AM being one of them. Just being in the same vicinity as them was such a surreal experience. I’ve spent years listening to their music, reading articles, looking at pictures and to have them right in front of me and knowing that they actually are real is just unexplainable. I think when you love a band so much the music just becomes part of who you are, and when you experience it live it feels like it sort of completes that part of you. I wish everyone had the opportunity to see their favorite bands because it is truly magical and nothing else compares to it.
Hope this was kind of what you were looking for, thanks for the question and have a wonderful day/night wherever you may be :)
